I did a low-level format using Maxtor's Powermax utility, hoping to wipe out any issues, but yet again...1.96GB. Anyone ever seen this before?

My second hard drive was permanently mounted in the case, for use as a data drive that all the removable drives could share. And you dont have to do it like that. I'm wondering if I should raise the priority of switching to SATA drives, in light of the configuration issues I'm facing? Sure.
